When the mornings are cold and your body craves warmth and nourishment, there’s nothing quite like a cup of healing bone broth. This nutrient-rich recipe supports digestion, immunity, and overall well-being, making it a staple for anyone looking to nourish their body and soul.

🍃 Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken carcass (giblets optional)
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 1 lemon, halved 🍋
  • 1 head of garlic, halved 🧄
  • 1 large onion, quartered 🧅
  • 1 tablespoon real salt 🧂
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder or a 1-inch piece of fresh turmeric ✨
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced 🌱
  • A handful of fresh parsley 🌿
  • 1 bay leaf 🍃
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 4–8 quarts cold filtered water 💧

🌀 Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a large stockpot or slow cooker.
  2. Add enough cold water to cover the ingredients.
  3. Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat, skimming any foam that rises to the top.
  4. Cover and let simmer on low for 10–12 hours.
  5. Strain the broth, discard the solids, and store in glass containers or freeze for later use.
